5 channel amp for just 2 subs

I have a 5 channel amp which has max 1200W output already and just bought 2 10" subs which each rms 400W. I was wondering if I could use the 5 channel amp for just the subs. they are bridged in the enclosure

Really need brand and specs on subs and amp. Are these power ratings at 4 ohms? Most likely sounds like it should power 1 sub better being at 1200 max probably a lot lower rms like 200-400 but really depends on brand and specs for both.
