im going to rewire my system with free wires i got from a buddy at a car audio place.
how long do the patch cords need to be to reach from the receiver to the rear gas tank hump behind the seat? (where my amps are) i was thinking 10 or 16 feet.
thanks

Mine were 5 meter cords and I had a decent amount of slack. What is that like 16 feet? I would go with the longer ones. You can always hide extra cord, but you can't strech it.
u gotta point about hiding the extra, but then again it costs more. i think ill go with 16 feet, unless someone found a way to stretch them

The longer your cables are, the more chance of noise getting in. Try to keep them as short as possible.
