Another route you could go is w/ Kicker. They also have powered substations, like the bazooka. But I have never heard them.

I a have a 10" bazooka in my ride. I think it sounds pretty sweet. I crank it up but I do not go competions or anything but it is the perfect level of bass for me.

my brother had a 10" bazooka with a built in amp in his Cougar Xr7 and it pounded pretty good. It was nice tight bass, made me voice shake. It coulda been louder had he put another amp to it.

Yeah, I was also thinking about these. How do they work? Pretty weird looking to me, but they might work good. So what does everybody think of these? Are they easy to hook up?

I dumped the stock speaker, and put in a MTX Thunder 3000, and it rocks!!! I think that the stock speaker doesn't handle too much power.

they have 6, 8, and 10 in. you can get them with built in amps, 100 or 150. check out www.crutchfield.com they seem to have a decent selection. im leanin towards them cause they seem simple and compact but still supposedly deliver decent sound.

I have the 6.5" bazooka and it sounds really good for it's size. It adds the perfect amount of extra bass and is really tight and punchy. I run it with a 100w amp. I was going to get the one with the built in amp but the guy at the car audio place told me they use crappy amps.

8 inches long?? nahhh more like 18" long. The biggest one, i guess is the 10" bazooka sub, fits right down into the camaro trunk well quite nice..

id go with the 10" tube, and upgrade to a Rockford, or MTX sub.. then it'll pound, may also rattle too dont forget!

I had a SAS 8'' Powered Unit and loved it.. I would buy it again in a heart beat, but I now have my battery in the trunk and gave up on car audio... If I did it again I would get the 10 and a Rockford 4 chanel, 2 for the sub and 2 for the front highs...

I have a 10" Bazooka Tube. It has very good sound and I think that the trunk area of the f-bodies make the tube sound much better. don't go with the amplified versions. go with the RS series versions cuz they can handle more watts. but if you don't have enough money a 10" Amplified Bazooka Tube is the ticket.

These are great for street racers. They sound awsome and dont weigh alot. But damn they cost the $$! But if you are gonna get one go all out and get the 10" with amp one.

I actually built my own Bazooka style tube sub. Just took some sonno tube (for pouring concrete foundations) Cut it to size, added top & bottom plates (one cut out for the sub one with a connector & a port) carpeted it, Installed my 12" JBL & connected the thing to an amp. Sounds 10x better than the sub box I made for mom's RS. (I'm just using a cheapo pyramid amp to drive it too)

Just a tip though, if you want an 8inch sub get 10inch sonnotube otherwise it's hard to install a sub "plate"

I've got pix if you wanna see

Sorry everyone about the last post. I'd like to see the pic. This might actually be a better idea than get two or three 10's if it sounds good. Whats the biggest you can fit in the well? Thanks James
