Free air subs.
Free air subs.
I want to clean up my hatch area and get my sub box out of there.I'm thinking of getting one 12 or two 10" free air subs and mount them behind the plastic moldings out of sight,I think it will be easier to do with free air subs, there's not much room for a proper box. I listen to heavy music mostly so I dont want boomy bass, just some nice low tight bass. I'm thinking about the Cerwin-Vega or Pioneer free airs. Can I get some decent bass from free airs? Thanks!

Don't think that if you get a free-air sub that you don't have to put it into a box. You need some sealing for it to create a sound. No matter what.
