Power buttom

Hello,

I have one question, the power button works like the other buttons ? it stays up all the time when you push on it ? or and it works like other buttoms up or down ?
because I can't turn off the radio (difficult to repair this ?)

Re: Power buttom

Yes; There is an On (in) and OFF (out) position when the button is pushed. A dead power button is a very common problem & not too difficult to repair. It is easier to remove & replace the power button if the face-plate and FM & logic boards are moved,... but it IS possible ( with some patience ! ) to replace the power button after removing only the bottom metal panel, then removing the cassette mechanism. The button can then be accessed and removed, but it's kinda'a PITA because the logic board is kinda' in the way.

Re: Power buttom

I think your best bet would be to either buy a parts radio, or email some repair shops that specialize in those radios, and see if they have one you can buy.
