i have a laptop with a dvd player and was wondering is there anyway i could hook it up with my car stereo system? in my old car, i had a tape player with a portible cd player hooked up to it and was messing around one day with my portible tv and instead of haveing the cd player plugged into the tape player, i had the little tv hooked up to it having the sound comming through my car stereo. is there anyway i could do something like this with my cd player in order to have my dvd player in my car? i have the pioneer 8200 deck.

 

If you have decent speakers, I wouldn't recommend it. Laptop speaker jacks produce a TREMENDOUS amount of static and interference. Another thing is that when the processor is running (which is all the time when you play a DVD), you're going to hear a constant ringing sound that is nothing more than a reminder that it's destroying your speakers. Just my $.02.
