Steering Wheel Adapter
Steering Wheel Adapter
Is there an adapter available to use aftermarket stereo's with the factory steering wheel controls? Also, I've heard that the signal changed in 1990. Is there anything that will work with my 89 GTA?
Thanks,

PAC makes a unit that is available at any Best Buy for about $60. It basically works like a learning-remote that you would use for your tv and stereo. You wire the steering wheel controls to it, and "teach" it the commands with the aftermarket radio's remote, and it remembers which signals go with which steering wheel buttons and will reproduce them when you press the wheel buttons.
