Amps under seats
Amps under seats
Has anyone ever tried this? Is there any room under the seats for a smaller amp, or are they too low to the floor?
I'd go and look, buy my car is 100 miles away in a storage facility.

I can barely fit my hand under the seat. There's no way an amp will fit and have any chance of cooling properly.

I've got a small clarion amp under my passenger seat powering my Infinity 4x6 plates. It's pretty tight in there but I've never had a problem with it over heating. I've got my other amps in the back.
I have a small rockford fosgate 2.6x amp powering my boston acoustic 4x6's under the passenger seat (non power)
no cooling problems running at 4ohms...
although my drivers seat is power and you could barely fit a small book under there, much less an amp!
