I am going to replace my dash and 6x9 speakers and I was wondering what everyone's opinion was. I've heard very good things about each one and can'ty make up my mind

 

the only cerwin-vega stuff I like/liked is there older stealth subs, those things hit super hard. so my choice would be infinity by a long shot!!

Yep wouldn't use anything else go Infinity! My whole system is Infinity Speakers love em.

 

When it comes to 6X9s I actually like the Vegas better, but its totally a subjective thing.

 

I really like my 4x6 Infinity Kappa plates.

 

Listen to them both! You decide. None of us have to live with those speakers for the next few years... you do! Make sure you listen to them, and then simply decide on what ones you prefer.

 

I agree w/jim. Buy what sounds good to you. If u have a high end audio shop stop in there and be sure to check out the stuff made by eclipse and coustic. Both make an excellent pair of speakers. I have coustic in my winter car, and they have a nice low end response. If you want all around sound quality, check out the eclipse. Just go and listen to as much as u can, all with the same cd, and pick somethin w/a good range of frequencies. Believe it or not, jazz is an excellent choice for checkin out speakers.

 

I have cerwin all around and my system is the loudest of my friends and the best clarity. CERWIN ALL the way. My frinds have infinities and shake there heads becasue my system is better than there's. As the guys say go listen to them yourself. They I believe are the better speaker!

 

I have the Infinite Kappa Series 6x9s, and they are a SWEET set of speakers. Very nice quality, nice power handling. Oh yeah, go Infinite
