I agree w/jim. Buy what sounds good to you. If u have a high end audio shop stop in there and be sure to check out the stuff made by eclipse and coustic. Both make an excellent pair of speakers. I have coustic in my winter car, and they have a nice low end response. If you want all around sound quality, check out the eclipse. Just go and listen to as much as u can, all with the same cd, and pick somethin w/a good range of frequencies. Believe it or not, jazz is an excellent choice for checkin out speakers.
I have cerwin all around and my system is the loudest of my friends and the best clarity. CERWIN ALL the way. My frinds have infinities and shake there heads becasue my system is better than there's. As the guys say go listen to them yourself. They I believe are the better speaker!
