I suffered through 2 hours of Sony Xplod training last night and at the end the instructer dude pulled 3 names out of a hat, for a pair of 12" subs and a head unit. I won one of the subs. . It's a 12" Xplod sub. I may play 60hz Chicken with it, or I may use it. I'm not sure yet. I should build a box and see how it sounds. In any event, it was still fun winning it. I also got all sorts of lit, a shirt and I even swiped the Marriot pen. They also fed me there! I love training seminars.

One time we played 60hz Chicken with a Rockford HX2 sub and it took over 2 minutes for it to cook!!!!!!!!!

well, congratulations, jim..! sounds like a great seminar - free food, handouts maybe, great prizes... though haven't heard that chicken thing before or whatever it is. seems that it goes down really low - hard on the subs.

60hz chicken is when you plug your sub into the wall socket and see how long it takes for it to blow.
