So going to upgrade the stereo on wife’s bird.

doing the double din swap with back up cam. Figured while I’m at it, might as well add a few more speakers to the kick panels.

I’ve read elsewhere that the do take up a bit of space on drivers side. It’s a automatic car so not that much of a problem id assume.


They have the two sizes, 5.25 and 6 in. I was curious if the smaller ones give a bit more room?

What’s people’s experience with them before I order them? Gonna get hosed on taxes and tarrifs so might as well I get it right the first time.

 

The 5.25 protrudes 1/2” less than the 6.5 set. To be honest there really isn’t sufficient air space for a 6.5” in any kick panel (ask me how I know). I’d stick to the 5.25 and use the included grill for a stealth look.

You’re not the only hoser buying a set this year, I’m waiting patiently for my new set of 5.25s to arrive.

I had no idea these things were still being made and offered by Q-logic. Do they still offer that amazing looking Q-logic subwoofer box they made for the rear hatch cargo area back in the day?

 

Do they only come in grey?

 

No, they come in most of the stock colors. The exterior is painted (dyed?) to match.
