Is my CD changer screwed?

I have an older (1995) JVC changer and I think I fried it, check out my other post (...help ASAP...)

I got power to the stereo sometimes (long story) and all the changer does is click four or five times, then does nothing, with the HU saying an error message.

Anyone have any experience? Is she a gonner?

Sounds like it. These days, its cheaper to buy a new changer then to take it and have it fixed.
