hey everybody, I'm going to get a new jbl amp for my car and run 2 12's and 300wx2 what I was wondering is......has anybodyever broke the rear window in your car from to much, and do you think that 600w would be to much for it? thanks in advance

 

I think you'd blow out the side windows before you break the rear. Since the side glass has no rail on top to hold it in.

You have to be alot louder then 2 12's to even come close to breaking glass. Don't worry

Um actaually you could break the rear with the right conditions. I personally blew out the rear window in my S10 with 2 Sony Xplod 10s. The deal was i had the heat going super hot in my truck and it was around -30*C outside. I just happened to have it cranked with a really low note and the next thing i knew i was no longer the owner of a rear window. I never listen to subs in the winter anymore cause of that. Needless to say it was a cold ride home.

lol .. that sucks .. my friend blew out the hatch window of his blazer. Last i seen he was running 2 jl 10's but im pretty sure he upgraded before it happened. One day he has tinted window with a decal on the backm next day its clear.
