that my brother assumed it had dual 3ohm voice coils so I wired the coils in series for a 6ohm load.
I have a Fosgate 500a2 bridged mono running it. It hit really hard.
I just found out that the 12W6 has dual 6ohm coils, so I am running the sub at 12ohms.
I am going to wire it for a 3ohm load, so now I should be getting maximum power and it should hit much harder.

After you re-wire the subs, i would suggest reseting the gain on the amp.
