Need info on amps

Im selling my amp when im off work today fo 70 bucks its a dhd power cruiser a no name and i want to get a god amp for my subs for about 150 or so. I live by the infinity/Jbl outlet and they sell last seasons amps dirt cheap around 150. How are infinity and jbl amps? or is there something different i should look for. Its going to be powering 2 10 inch kenwood tornados and maybe later on 12's. Also what are some deacent 4 channel amps i want to get rid of all my cheap amp crap and move up in life my sub amp first then my interior speakers. Thanks

$150 really doesn't get you much for a sub amp. Double that much and you're in business. BUT, we have an Orion Cobalt 150.2 at work that sells for $159 and it surprised the hell out of me! It can push a pair of subs pretty well for the money.

Shopping based on watts is dangerous. A 600 watt Boss amp for $200 is nothing compared to a 100 watt Rockford amp, and the Rockford is only a few dollars more money. If you're on a tight budget, look at a Rockford 250a2, or a Kicker ZR120. Inexpensive, but powerful amps, dispite the fact that their so-called power ratings are very, very different from the flea market amps.

It will be substantially more output than your head unit. Substantially more.
