CD Stuck In My CD Player. How Can I Get It Out??

CD Stuck In My CD Player. How Can I Get It Out??

it's a pioneer 7200. what can i do to get it out? it's not even reading the cd to play it. thank you.

Axle/Gears: 3.42 / ?
You may have to take the radio apart to get it, but first, unplug it from the wiring harness, wait a minute, then plug it back in. That should reset it and force the cd out. If it's jammed in too much for that to help, then you'll have to take the radio apart.

thanks for your fast response jim. i took it apart and got the cd out, but i guess it's the motor stayed in the closed position and couldn't get the cd back in. it seems the motor doesn't work anymore. what i think im gonna do is just send it out to get fixed. i have the warrentee on it and already put a cd back in the way i pryed it out anyways. i just got it off ebay like 3 weeks ago, and it's an already reconditioned cd player. that'll teach me i guess to try and save a few bucks. thanks again.

You probably voided the warranty when you took it apart to get the CD out. Oops.
