I like that a lot. It keeps everything looking clean back there. I wonder if something like that would be able to support the t-tops on top of it. Doubtful but thats just another idea for me to think about for my install.

I don't care for it. (I hope you don't get insulted if it's yours). It doesn't blend into the car at all. I prefer installs that conform to the shape of the car for a much more custom fit. Plus, ventilation of those HCCA amps isn't going to be very good. Just not a design that I think has a contiguous flow.

there is a little more space in the amp rack than the pic tells. it also slides out (towards the seat) so the amps can be accesed without dissasembling the box. ive never had any problems with them running hot. in fact i have to play them extremely hard for 20min or more to get them good and warm. after 20min my head usually hurts anyway. the really cool thing about this box is that its tuned a little lower than most factory boxes. it sounds really deep and loud anywhere between 25-80hz.

Nice job, but I have to agree with JIM that it does'nt quite compliment the shape of the interior as well as it could.

I had an 425HCCA powering 4 JL15W6's in a wall and I must say that it got pretty warm but never kicked off. It was a tough amp. I think I had it running at 1 1/2ohm.

KlayBuRn is a monkey and has no idea about brands. no, they do not sell ORION at radio shack. you will see a lot of orion at competitions, and car audio mags. its expensive, but i worked at an ORION dealer, so i didnt pay retail. lots of people make good speakers, but ORION amps are the best. this set up is run @1.33ohms mono from an amp rated to deliver 50watts. who else makes an amp that will run 1ohm mono all day long wiithout heating excessively? no one! best SPL was just under 130, but i was more interested in sound quality than SPL.

Not to push you off the orion cloud but my memphis 1000-d amp runs at a consistant 1ohm load...not 1.33..(i assume you are running 3 4 ohm subs)and i can run the heck outta it all day and it does not run hot "excessively."and my amp is not the best amp in the world...its very good just like orion but not the best.. I'm not here saying orion is a bad amp but dont put them on some platform that no other amp can touch...they're not that good...not to mention if your only getting high 120's...my first system when i was 15 years old consisted of 2 pioneer IMPP's and a jenson amp...in a trunk no less and i hit more than that..and that is a crappy crappy system.i'm not trying to be one a those "my stuff is better and the stereo shop i go to is better" kinda guys...but i hate people that put they're stuff on a platform....i put a lot of money into this stuff and i am in no way in a position to say i have the best or that i can compete with the best...if ya want the best and have a way to wire a small power plant to your car a US amp will out do bout any amp...i ASSURE you and i dont beleive i'm going out on a limb when i say that US Amps might be a little bit better than a Orion..once again not saying you have a bad choice in merchandise..hell i almost bought one....lol i'm not sure where al this built up hostility comes from...perhaps its from selling electronics at Sears where all we sell is jenson, mtx, walmart style pioneer and those POS sony explode radios..and guys come in all the time and ask me what they should get to compete with...i wanna just say "nothing here!!!" but i cant..theres that whole "companies best interest" thing. =0)...anyways.. to sy2449...its all good just please dont be that guy...the my stuff is the best guy...and if your problem is you need the power of a 1 ohm load but cant take the heat try a memphis 1500-D...a 1500x1 rms at a 2 ohm load..yes i love my memphis can ya tell?

hey KLAYBURN my bad, im not attacking you, just felt like you were way off in left field. GEN X MARO im not trying to say i have the best amps in the world, and they are the only thing that will work. i REALLY like orion amps, but i know there are a lot of good american made amps out there. the reason we used ORION amps was because they have a truly unregulated powersupply that will double the power output everytime the resistance is halfed. it will do this untill it burns itself up. (literally) most amps will not truly double their power when you lower the resistance. they may double once, but i havnt seen any that double more than twice. the reason is because they have protective circuitry that helps lower warranty repair cost when monkeys install them improperly, and short the outputs to each other or to ground. the 225HCCA's are rated at 25watts a channel, yet they will consistantly deliver 200watts a channel RMS and run reasonable cool. so im sorry if i came off like i know everything. im definately not saying i know everything. these are the reasons i like orion amps, sorry i didnt explain before, but i feel like some off this stuff is a little over the average enthusiasts head.

so.... back to the point, its for sale.
