WHERE'S THE BEST PLACE FOR CD CHANGER?
I AM THINKING OF PUTTING A 6 OR 10 CD CHANGER IN THE TRUNK IN THE LOCKNG GLOVE BOX ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER GOOD LOCATIONS? I PLAN TO ALSO ADD A SUB IN THE WELL AREA. WILL THIS CAUSE THE CD'S TO SKIP? THANKS

Depends on the size. A 6 disc should fit fine under the seat, in the back, in the center console, etc. But a 12 disc may only fit in the back. Also, a 6 disc sony will be a different size then a 6 disc Alpine. Kind of a brand thing, unlike the standard DIN size decks that everyone makes.

I suggest you get a 10 or 12 pack changer and mount it in the trunk...anywhere you think it will fit. Get a CD-changer that is hardwired to the head-unit. I've heard stories of RF type changers getting interference from loud stereo systems when mounted near the speakers. With a hard-wired system you shouldn't have any problem mounting them near subs unless you are pushing MASSIVE amounts of power.

Okay, so I now want a hardwired 10/12 disc changer. I assume these cost more. Can they be found at places like Circut City or Best Buy or do I go to a more high end store? I see the RF type on sale all the time. Can the hardwired type be attached to my factory unit or not? I really dont want to put it in the arm rest if I dont have to or under the seat so I guess the trubnk is my choice.
I mounted my 6 disc changer beside my T-top bag right behind my back seats. At first i mounted it to close to my sub and it skipped like a mother******. Now it only skips when I hit a large bump.

First of all: DO NOT BUY FROM CIRCUIT CITY. And if you feel absolutely compelled to give them your money, then for the love of god don't let them install it.
That said, the best place that I can think of involves that locking rear glove box. You'll have to get an RF changer unless you change out the head unit at the same time.

I will not go to circuit city unless they are giving them away because their repair policy pissed me off along time ago. I do like Best Buy but will probably try a high end store if I can get a deal. I think I like the lock box in the trunk because of security from my son borrowing my CD's, etc. Will the CD's skip in this area because of the panel speakers or the speakers in the well? If they will not this is the way I will go. Right now the onl;y thing that is kept in that lock box is my car cleaning supplies. No big deal.
