I put Pioneer 4-ways in mine. They're 220-watts and they sound great. Plus they arnt too expensive at $120.

Well the only 6x9's that are called subs that i have found are the Kicker F6x9c. They are a freeair sub and are very similar to the 8 inch free air models. They handle 150 rms i belive and are avible in 4 or 8 ohm configuration. Here is a web site with incredible prices, they sell them for a mere 62 bucks each.

As usual, I'd suggest bringing some cds to your favorite car audio store and do some listening. No matter what you do you're not going to get an accurate representation of bass output in a showroom, but at least you can compare from one to another. Buy the ones you like, and just keep in mind that no matter what power they are rated to handle, anything more than a 30x2 amp is usually going to push them to their mechanical limits.

6x9 speakers suck!, if i were you, i would get a 5 1/4 inch 2 peice component set. or if you got the cash, get a 3 peice with a 8 inch sub-bass

I really wouldn't get the kicker 6X9 subs, trust me. My freind and i put a couple along with a good sized amp in his old ranger, and they were not even close to being worth the $$. My old '92 Lumina's factory stereo sounded better.
