Box Blueprint
Box Blueprint
Does enyone have a blueprint or a scamatick for a 3-rd gen camaro. I could probebly make the the box myself in my dads workshop. All I need is the plans.
Allso what kind of wood is recomended for a box. Is 3/4" plywood better than particle board or does in not make a difference in the end.

1. The size box you make should really be determined by the speaker(s) you're using.
2. It makes a huge difference.
3/4" MDF. No particle board, No plywood (unless it's expensive marine grade plywood).
PS-don't forget Liquid Nails (or equivelant) & 2" screws.

Definatly go with MDF...its great to work with...all smooth and no splinters or anything.
Oh and ask Jim for his box dimensions
PS: just in case you dont read the car audio boards alot, I'm just kidding about asking Jim for dimensions. Just take a tape measure out and use some geometry to get the right airspace. If you dont want to ruin stuff with off measurements, make a mock-up with cardboard or something first.
