Bye-Bye Back Seats

Taking out back seats this weekend. Reasons, First they are to small for people. Second i want to mount my amps back there so i can put my t-tops in the trunk, And third i want to mount some 5 point harness. And the best place to mount the sholder straps is to the back seat. Ok now here are my questions. Are there any really good reasons to not do this? And does any who has done this have any pictures of the final out come?

um there is that huge section of metal that sticks up out of the carpet, it is color matched to the exterior but its soooo damn ugly.

that is one reason i have back seats again.

I threw out my rear seat backs, but kept the bottoms. people can still fit back there....more room too. the reason I tore them out is because they were sun faded and ripped and it looks beeter withou them.

I did that in my 95 z28 and plan to do it in my 87 iroc z. I made a platform for the amps to be mounted flat and a box with 4 JL 10W3 facing the front. i took it out b/c i sold the car but will sne pics of the setup out of the car tomorrow.

Believe the bolt is 14mm on the bottom front of the seat bottom then on each side there is a 12mm bolt i believe to take out the seat back.
