hrmm, just to play devil's advocate here...
the more crap you put on a bridge covering what is basically a glorified midrange/midbass speaker, the more sound you are going to block and have to make up for it elsewhere...
Now, the best thing to do would be to mount a set of 5" - 6.5" seperates in that spot with a simple MDF adapter plate. Otherwise go listen to a good set of 6x9's and you decide.
Nobody can really tell you what the "BEST" speaker is because everyone's ears will be different. Most can sound good, but some are blatently better sounding than others.
