Having 6x9s, 4x6s, and kickpanels all in one install and stock wiring for adding amp
I'm thinking about a new install, and am not sure on a few things. I'm not a diehard audiophile or fanatic about sound imaging, I'm just going for a full sound effect. Does anyone have 6x9s, 4x6s, and kickpanels all together? If so, how does it sound? Was the wiring difficult? If I add a new amp to power all the midrange speakers, will I have to install new wires to handle the new powerload? Thanks.
If you could swing it, I'd go for kickpanels.
Better imaging/ better speakers.
Wiring is fairly easy. I just removed the factory harness and ran more wire from the dash down to the kicks.
As far as gauge, you may want to upgrade wires. But the biggest reason to run new wire with an amp is for ease of installation/ location.
