im not to sure, but i know you should post the rms rating of those speakers, max watts mean jack ****, you will get more answers with rms

400 RMS on components, 220 RMS on 6x9's? That's alot of power...my 12" sub only takes 200 RMS. Are you sure those arn't the max ratings?

Those are definately maz ratings, not RMS. I've not seen a 6x9 out there with an RMS output of more than 80W or so.

220W max sounds about right...
