Nice to see 3rd gens in competition again...
Just a pic from Perry Motorfest...
It really is good to see thirdgen's making it into competition again lately.

Seeing Gary Bigg's car reminds me of Richard Clark's (SpeakerWorks) 1986 Buick Grand National. It won the Alpine Car Audio Nationals II Pro Unlimited (751 watts and up) division in '88, and IASCA's Pro unlimited title in '89, '90, and '91.
If I also remember right it had Image Dynamics Speakers all around and Alpine headunit, amps(that had been modified with larger cap's.)And it was one of the first to have kickpods and 12's mounted in the rear side panels. Nothing else even came close to it. *** I miss that car!
As I was about 16 when I started watching this car take home the trophys. Anyone remember it?

The site appears to be down at the moment, but you can still see the old article on that vehicle at http://www.termpro.com/showcars/terminator/ca1096.html
That car was way ahead of it's time. Right now it's sitting in a warehouse in sort of half rebuild state as it has been for a few years. Richard hasn't had the time to do anything with it last I heard.
Now my question is, how the hell does anyone judge for noise in Gary's car with the car running. When he had it at Daytona this year, I believe he was running open headers...started up the car from tweak n' tune and everyone within 500 feet jumped out of their seats. I wonder if he ever put a full exahust on that thing.

I don't know but Gary must have gotten it fixed. Read the link. http://www.kicker.com/kcsc/mainx.sho...ame=ww0601.htm
