It it a normal fuse that's glowing? I've heard of crossovers that have a light-bulb kind of deal, so as the power increases, the bulb will start to glow and will add resistance, lowering the power going to the speaker to prevent overpowering them. That could be the case.

I know that in some proaudio speakers that I have used for live shows they use something like what you are describing in the crossover for the horn. In my experience with these the more power you give them the more they glow. You seem like you have plenty of power so that would explain it.

Many crossover units wire a light as a tweeter protection. When you start cranking it, it looks like lightning in a dark car.

OK, your "fuse" in the crossovers is actually a light bulb even though it look like a fuse, it is for the tweeter protection circuit as described above... too much power for the tweeter the light glows / flashes to protect them .... I would recommed re adjusting your amp gains so that at "full volume" the lights are just starting to come on or eventually you will fry your tweets, besides with the tweeter level at 0 db isn't there plenty of "tweeter highs" on my PSC 316 set (6"4"1") with the RTC 25 mm (1") tweeter they WAIL at almost any volume and I have the X-overs set to -3 db and also my EQ set at -2 DB at 16 KHZ to smooth out the top end Anyway hope this helps,..
