Stock Speakers on a 83 Firebird
I bought a new head unit(KOSS)NOt the most expensive but i have noticed alot more bass in my stock rear speakers. I mean it sounds real good like there aftermarket minisubs or something, could these possible be aftermarket, or am i lucky and got a set of real good stock speakers??

It's probably a few different things.
The GM speakers tend to be a little better than most factory speakers...although if you can find some factory speakers from a late '80s or even early '90s model, they'll still be better than the '83 ones you have now.
As you said, maybe a previous owner did put aftermarket speakers in. You could remove the grille (it's only one screw) to look and see.
Your aftermarket radio has more power than your factory one.
Also, your aftermarket radio probably has more agressive tone controls than the factory one. Do you have the Loudness button on? Is the bass turned up?
If you have any opportunity to return that Koss for a name-brand radio, do it soon. Eventually, your CD will get stuck inside and not come back out.

Where is the screw for the sailpanel so i can take if off, is it the one that holds the coat hook on? Yes the head unit has a loudness button, and a pre set EQ buttons for Rock, POP, and classic.

Yes. You just unscrew the coat hook (it's a very long screw), then you put your palms agains the sail panel, slide it up about one inch, and it comes off.
When you go to put it back on, don't get too frustrated. It does take a little bit of care to make sure that you get all the slide-in tabs on the back of the sail panel to go in....you'll see what I mean once you get it off but it's no big deal. And it takes a couple of tries to get the coat hook screw to go in the right way.
