I jut bought a clarion 7 band EQ, bt i dont know how to hook it up do all the wires just go nto the harness that my deck wires are i, also i hav a 4 channel amp, so i donuse the stock speakers wires i just have wires gong from the speakers to the amp, which is what is supossed to be done so how do iconnect the speaker leads??? also my deck has 3 pre outs and so does he EQ which ones do i use im assumin the EQs???

 

What eq is it? How many inputs does it have on the EQ?

 

Its a clarion EQS750, it has 2 inputs a main and and Aux

 

That's the same one i have. What is your amp running? The Front and Rear speakers or just Subs?

 

I have a 4 channel amp running the fronts and rears and i just bought a jbl bp 1200.1 for my subs

 

Hook up the Power12v, Remote12v, and the Ground wires to the wires that run to the headunit. The other wires on the back of the EQ are for Line-Level inputs incase you don't have RCA's on the back of your headunit. You attach the speaker wires to those to give the EQ a signal. You don't need those wires so cover the ends of the wires with Electrical Tape, Butt Connectors, or Remove them from the connector itself which is what I did. Run either you're front or rear RCA output from your headunit to the input on the EQ. It doesn't matter which one. Then run your RCA's from the EQ to the amps. Front RCA to in the input RCA on the amp that runs the Front Speakers and etc.

do you think my head unit will get screwed up if i hook up the rem turn on cause ive already got my head unit,both amps,and 2 small fans hooked into my rem turn on lead

 

You need to install a relay having that many things running off of the Remote Wire. It could cause you some problems. I wouldn't take the chance if it were me. Maybe you could unhook the fans until you get a relay.

 

i actually have a relay, but i dont know how to hook it up, and i dont know how many thngs i can hook up to itits a och 20/30A relay it has a yellow wire,a black wire, a red wire, a blue wire and a white wire
