box flex
Hi, Just finished helping a buddy set up his new Infinity Perfect 12.1 in his truck. He built a box for it just over 1 cu.ft. out of 3/4" particle board. I thought he should use 1" MDF, but he had this around. He is using a Hifonics 200 W amp for it and the box seems to vibrate and dance around a bit. My question: how do people get away with using fiberglass for enclosures? wouldn't that stuff vibrate like crazy?

Fiberglass is VERY stiff, especially when it's braced properly. Look at DJSexay's kick panels. There's a picture of him standing on them. They're quite strong.

Fiberglass is good for a curved panel, similar to sheetmetal and cardboard (look at the floorboard of your card or corrogated cardboard... curves are good.. Flat expanses of fiberglass and cardboard are bad.
Keep in mind that MDF is pourous anyway. Put two pieces together and try to have a shop vac pick one up without picking up the other. Tough.
Sounds like you need more bracing.
