My Setup? Any problems up ahead?

Alright this is the setup I have planned... I've bought everything except, sub amp and wiring etc.

Head Unit:
- Pioneer Premier P930 (6.5V preamp outs)

Front:
- Boston Acoustics ProSeries 6.53 with Woofer and Tweet in DJSEXAY kicks and Mid in the doors. (3 ohms)
- PPI PC2600 (300W x 2 @ 2 ohms)

Subs:
- 2 JL 12W3-D4's
- Audiobahn A18001D (1800W x 1 @ 1 ohm)

Wiring:
- 0 AWG Power & Ground (what's the diff between 1/0 and 0?)
- 10 ga. speaker wire

Sound good? Or am I gonna run into problems with 900 Watts going to each sub?

Sounds pretty good. If you plan to run that much power though you may want to look into upgrading your electrical system (alternator/battery). Also, do you plan to run 10 awg for all your speakers or just your subs? 10 awg seems a little excessive for full range speakers.

Well, ya see, the Crossovers for the components will be up front, hopefully flushed in the floor, and the amps in the back, so I was going to run 10 AWG to the crossover and then 12 to each component. Is it necessary or should I just stick with 12 the whole way down?

Also, I actually was going to run 12 to the subs, should I go to 10?

12 awg should be more than enough for your fronts; I ran 16 awg for my speakers, 12 awg for my subs. Current is what kills wires, not wattage. The reason power wires for your amps are so big is because it's 12 V. Take a look at a household hairdrier, rated at maybe 1600 watts, and then look at the power wire, it's about the size of my speaker wire. The reason they can get so much wattage through the wire is because it's at 110 volts. With almost 10 times the voltage as your car, there's not as much current as a 1600 watt amp running at 12 volts. My point is that a speaker's signal can be more than 12 volts, so it might not draw as much current as you would think. I put a 4 amp (if I remember correctly, something small) fuse on each of my front components, and I can run it loud enough to make my ears hurt for an extended period of time and no problem at all from the fuse, so there's less than 4 amps going through my wire. So unless you're running low impendence speakers, you probably dont need 10 awg wire.
