How do you think that will sound?

that will prolly sound great, but I dont like sony decks very much, my bud has one, and it takes forever to load the cd, compared to my alpine which loads really fast, plus the alpines have alot of crossover features that i dont think the sonys have, i think that if u can get an alpine deck, at the least the CDM-7871, that one i got for about $270 on sale, its a really good deck, but if u can afford it, get a better one, and not to dog on Kenwood, cause they are pretty good also, but i would consider getting a JL AUDIO amp to go with those subs, maybe the 250/1 or the 500/1
then u will be block shockin lol i know that was dumb

 

it will sound decent, I'm running 12" W0's in my car and they sound great. I think after i got my kicker amp i had the gain a little high and i think one of my voice coils is a little toasted. But all and all yours should sound decent and you wont be dissapointed, but i have to agree that i dont like sonys. Im more into kenwood and pioneers.

i've actually have a sony deck, but thats cause the owner before me left it in there and i have other stereo stuff to buy. the interesting thing is, it is able to play cd-r's and cd-rw's. odd...... i figure, work with what you've got. if you have another area that needs upgrading, do that. you've at least something you can work off of.
