watch for the falling prices. If they go down to $.50, then consider buying them, but then you'll be angry you wasted gas, time putting the box in, and the $.50. Don't even second look walmart, k-mark, or even pepboy brand.

Two words "be patient"
Save your cash and get something decent. With the internet you could probably round up a pair of decent subs for under 100 bucks if you looked around

Ive seen those. And I am pretty sure they are 6 1/2 "subs" . If this is the one you are talking about, (wierd little box , orange "subs" grills over them ). Im probobly sure they are junk. If you are talking about the Roadgear line , that is prolly not good either. ALl the speakers are made out of paper and tin foil.

THo at wal-mart I did buy the wireing harness adapter for the deck for like $8.00 , and it came with a antenna adapter as well . Now at circuit city or best buy they sell the same thign for like $15 each....so $30 total.

Go on Ubid.com they got cheap subs and stuff

Hey, i feel for ya for budget but never buy something you can't listen to first or you'll be seriously dissapointed!!!

For budget, here's what i stick to. Jensen amps aren't the cleanest sounding but work good enough that like 4 of my freinds have used them. Some budget subs i can endorse are justabout any MTX, i used to have 2 terminator 12's in my lumina, $40 each. Pioneer stuff is fine, you could always wait for best buy or circut city to have a "2 for 1" sale on Xplods which aren't bad either. But don't go near walmart or auto store stereo gear. Or hit some pawn shops if you know what your doing and won't get ripped

Anything from wal-mart is a waste of cash. In my opinion the way to go is eclipse. They really stand behind their product. 1 year anti theft warantee on all head units, and their product is the best on the market. MB Quart, Soundstream, and AudioControl are also good. For the normal consumer who isnt totally **** like i am, Rockford is the way to go

I've seen that speaker at Wal-Mart, but it's not setup so you can listen to it... I wonder why?

But anyway, regardless of quality or price, that's not a subwoofer system anyway. The "subwoofers" are small, and tweeters are included in the box too......it's essentially a full-range speaker, and probably won't make much bass.

There was another guy on here, I forget his name, but he bought the Jensen 10" bandpass subwoofer at Wal-Mart for something like $89, and he's pretty happy with it; if you're on a budget, maybe you could save up for that.

But don't forget, you can probably return whatever you buy after 30 days. If you do try out the $20 piece, let us know how it turns out.

I had those before my 12's. They are 6 1/2's. They are a complete was of money. The rattled way too much when you turned the volume up. Save your money and buy some real subs.

go with ebay all the way. there are plenty of people who buy subs at wholesale and sell on ebay. i got a pair of alpine type r subs for less than $200. the subs normally retail for $200 each. i just looked on ebay real quick, and already found a bunch of subs from top brands that you can get cheap.

You just missed the new fall inventory, henceforth, clearance @ SEARS. I saw them selling a JVC CD deck w/ wireless remote & detachable face for $50! Brand new! I wish I had $50! They also had 10" MTX Subs for $20 each. 12" Pioneer subs for $30 each. I wish I didn't already have subs. I would've killed for those prices.
