If you have power windows then you'd have to build out the door due to clearance issues. Most of us either upgrade the stock factory speakers or use Kickpods.

If you want to mount speakers in the doors, you usually have to build spacer panels, but the effort is worth it. DJ Sexay's kick panel enclosures would be a lot easier, and probably sound a lot better. Q-forms also makes kick panel pre fab enclosures, and they are pretty expensive, but if you have ever custom fabricated one of these, the price doesn't seem so high. I can't make any judgement as to which enclosure would sound better, since I haven't heard DJ's product. I can tell you that as a professional installer, I have done both door panel and kick panel enclosures on 3rd gen cars, and the kick panel route always sounded better. Unless you are really experienced with custom fabrication, I would just buy the enclosures and enjoy them.

there made by a fellow thirdgenner...DJSexay

www.djsexay.com

He's on break right now, they are just a job he does to build a system for his Firehawk ( lucky bastard ), now he has finished a very nice install, and is taking a break so he can prepare for compitition. But these defiantly are the way to go.

$155 + shiping

THen you will need some components and most likely an amp, the HU wont be enough power to give to the components

If you're referring to Q-forms Don't buy them I have a set and here's my list of complaints.
1. They don't fit worth a crap.
2. Made out of really thin plastic, about the thickness of a credit card.
3. They're are way more expensive. Like $200 that's not including Dynamat and fiberglassing to make it good and solid. And if you're time means anything to you then that could throw the price in the $275-$300 for everything.

I don't have DJ's kicks, but this is just from what I know.
1. They seem to fit very well as you can see in the pictures above.
2. His kicks are made out of fiberglass and they are very solid so no need to modify them.
3. They're cheaper like $45 cheaper and again no need to modify them so that saves you as much as $120-$145 for materials and if your time means anything to you.
4. DJ even will cut the holes for your mid and tweet Do Q-forms? Nope!

I hope this answers your questions.
