Mixture Screw
I was trying to ajust my 2BBL. VaraJet the other day and I notice when i went to try and ajust the mixture screw it was stuck. And I think it been stuck for awhile, thats why i haven't been able to make my idle richer. My question is: Can I spray some carb cleaner, or WD40 on the mixture screw to free it, or will this hurt the carb in any way?
Thanks,
Robert

Hose it down!! Won't hurt anything.
BTW- it's rare the carb itself will go out of adjustment. If things are too lean at idle the first thing to check on any carb'ed engine is if you have any vacuum leaks.
