CCC QJet
CCC QJet
Been piddling with my CCC qjet on my 85 Z28 LG4. For some reason, the damn secondaries refuse to open. Instead of opening, they just "flutter" in place. I've check everything I know to check (spring tension, vacuum leaks, etc) All to no avail. The care is drivable and it really doesn't matter as I'm dropping a 400 in a couple of months when its done. Just annoying that I can't figure it out. Suggestions??
Nevermind, gunna chalk this one up to a crappy motor (280,000 miles). Only pulling 9" of vacuum. Probably the source of my problem. I'll just nurse it along till I get the 400 in. BTW, I'm topping the 400 with a Edelbrock RPM Air Gap manifold and the Holley Avenger Carb 750CFM. Any one have first hand report on the new Avenger Carb?
