Before i got my carter carb,i had a spacer/adopter plate to run the q-jet carb i had on my performer r.p.m.intake. i've had some people tell me that since i have a square bore carbeurator now i can take the spacer plate,Flip it upside down and put it between the carb and the intake and gain a little more power at the top end.Has anyone ever tried this and does it work? The spacer plate is about 1 inch thick.I've seen the spacer plates in summit/jegs that are suposed to give you more power,Does anyone knows if these work? And the name of this post is actually do spacer plates actually work (stupid keyboard!)
