carb info

i have a chance to pick up a 406 with less than 1000 miles on it but i am wondering if the carb can handle this size. is it hard to rejet these types of computer controlled carbs? i would probably have to get a custom chip made...any input would be appreciated

The CCC system "could" handel the 406 but you would need to hook everthing up the same.
The only downfall is the cc system wasent ment for squat HP so you might just end up ripping it all off and slaping a non cc carb/dis on there. The Specialty chips dont work worth squat on a carb system.

Send the carb to Jet, tell them EVERYTHING about your setup, let them work the carb over and give you a chip for it.

Give them a call. If they can't make it work, they'll tell you up front.

If they say it will work, and it doesn't after you get it back from them, let US know!
