Where can I get a dual snorkel L69 air cleaner for "cheap" as in around $100

Where can I get a dual snorkel L69 air cleaner for "cheap" as in around $100
Is it possible? Want to put one on my girlfriends RS.

if you get lucky and find one in a yard you could likely pick one up for cheap.....but why not make one...thats even cheaper. there is even a very good tech article on this site on how to do it. i used it as a guide line and found it to be very helpful.

Yes, I got to thinking last night............and I was thinking that if I could find a rubbermaid microwave proof rubber container approx. 14inch in diamater, then go to home depot and buy some 3-4inch dryer ducting, I could easily make one using my existing 14inch chrome cleaner. I'm going to make one and I'll post some pics when I'm done.

I have a dual snorkel air cleaner from my 84 Z l69. The ducts are brand new from next generation. The Air cleaner itself needs to be repainted and doesn't have the "5.0 H.O." sticker on it. I'm trying to get around $65 or $70 dollars for it.

yeah i meant get another single snorkel air cleaner....and yes, just pop rivet it onto your original (after cutting a hole in your original...read the tech article).
