is this 750 makin me stall??
ok guys with the set up in my sig. i have a 750 edelbrock and when i get on it and then hit the brakes or turn hard it will stall the car.could this be that i have to much carb for this engine and i am floodin it? it does bog a little bit. do u think my combo woudl run better with a 650 maybe. also my powersteering pump leaks a little and i was thinkin maybe thats it cause it happens when i turn alot? thankls guys

my friend had that problem in his 76 maro. turns out his engine wasnt creating enough vacuum because of his large cam to keep the engine running when he hit the brakes hard. just a thought.....
the cam in that motor probably isn't very radical. if it happens when you get on the brakes hard then you probably need to adjust the floats on the carb. readjust the floats and get the thing semi-tuned and you should be alright.

I thought with a loss of vacuum the power brakes would work sparatically. A vacuum cannister assists accessories, but doesn't affect the amount of vacuum produced by your engine.
curt86iroc, I would tell your friend to also check his float adjustment. I don't think something like that should happen at all and not have some way to be fixed
