750 double pumper pouring gas in intake
750 double pumper pouring gas in intake
I don't think it has anything to do with fuel pressure because my Edelbrock 750 works fine. Just kitted this double pumper to fix some leaks, but I had used it before and it ran pretty rich, but it ran. It literally pours gas in, caught my headers and intake on fire. It will run for about 30 seconds after removing the carb with all the gas its dumping. When I had it apart I noticed that both metering blocks had a power valve in them instead of the typical plug in the rear. It has to be coming through the bottom or middle of the carb because I can't see it dripping or running out of the squirters. Just looking for similar experiences or advice because I have never seen this before. Thanks!

I would check the power valve. I had this problem at one time, and tore the carb apart, change the primary valve, and cleaned the needle and seat. One of those 2 did it, cause it ran great after that.
