Turning the idle mixture screws in or clockwise will lean the idle mixture. Adjust the idle mixture screws to obtain best manifold vacuum with a vacuum guage.
Be sure the motor is fully warmed up first. Turn the screws slowly.

"Stock q-jet" should mean "computer controlled q-jet". Vacuum gage is not the correct method for adjusting the idle mixture on that type of carb.

yeah, sorry, it's a stock computer controlled q-jet. i don't want to adjust the idle, I'm getting a code saying that its running lean. just want to know if you turn the rich/lean screw to the right or the left. also, should i adjust the float? Thanks for the help, i'm not to good on carburetors. my car is in the sig.
