Where can I get a tool to adjust my qjet idle screws?

I bought some junk tool designed to adjust carburetors the other day. Only problem is it doesn't fit into the little holes of my qjet where the plugs used to be. What do you use and where can I get it?
Thanks,
Homer

1988. Computer quadrajet. It's one of the ones that has the plugs covering the mixture screws. Once you get rid of the plug, you have a hole. The screw head is in the hole, so the tool has to be thin enough to fit inside.

No tool can adjust that if you don't "cut away" the casting on the bottom.... did you do that?

It was apparently done before I bought the car, but yes, the bottom of the casting is cut out. But why does that make a difference? The tool still needs to be a small enough diameter to fit into the hole.

I didn't have any trouble. If I'm not too busy tonight I'll see if I can get a pic of my adjustment tool.

Got one today at Napa. 7 bucks, part no. 700-1415 for anyone reading this who needs one too.

Set each side to three turns from seated, like the shop manual says. Runs smoother now, but isn't quite 100%.

WRONG !!!! I bought mine from advance and it worked just fine, all I did was knock the plugs out of the casting and it fit just great. the one I bought came with about 4 or 5 different "heads" for different carbs.

The one I got at advance was too big in diameter. Wouldn't fit in the plug hole.
