would this work
i have an 86 z-28.
i have swapped my 305 for a 350, and to get more power im wonderingif i disconnect my q-jet from the computer hookups, would it run first of all and would i get more power.
it is a factory 4bbl q-jet with an electric choke. it has been rebuilt.

"Power" is in the secondaries.
First, make sure it is operating to its potential. Go over the information in the tech article on q-jets and do what is necessary.
Then, tune the secondary mixture with rods & hanger. DR rods on a B hanger is a pretty good overall setup.
