Think my floats are ok?? I messed one up.

Ok I was under the hood of my car yesterday (as usual) and noticed one of the clear site plugs on my holley was actually broken off and leaking gas. It been leaking awhile because there is stains on hthe carb and intake.

I ripped the carb off. Took the back side fuel bowl off and tried to get the plug out. I couldnt so I took a very sharp punch and put it in the middle and hit it with my palm...the clear plug broke sure enough and I got it out fine.

However...I managed to snag the float and it chipped a piece off. Nothing huge but it took out a piece. I put the carb back together and it seems ok. Just wondering what i should do.

Heh heh. Dude, I know exactly how you feel. Don't sweat it. As long as it doesn't play "submarine commander" on you, you're fine.

I went ahead and changed it to be safe. Everyone I talked to said it was gonna sink so I changed it. Seems to be fine now.
