Holley Help

Ok so my carb is dead and I want to get a new one. The old one had TPS and from everything I have heard I can run a regular carb. without any trouble. So here is my question what is a good Holley that gets better gas mileage that a stock but is still good performance wise?

If you're going to switch to a non-computer controlled carb, you need to switch to a non-computer controlled distributor too. Then it will work.

Here are a few threads that address this same topic:

Rochester Quadrajet Carb
83 H.O. stock carb??? or a Holley,etc...
q-jet to holley

Hit the search button in the top right corner to do a search for more info, there's plenty of it. I suggest you just rebuild the original carb, it'll probably come out to be cheaper.

Were you thinking about rebuilding it? I know someone that rebuilds them for pretty good money and they are very good at it. Let me know if you are interested.
