secondaries

what is a good way to tell they are opening?....and can you check them opening at idle or does it have to be under load?

Transmission: WC T5, 3.23 posi
Look down the carb at the secondaries, you'll see if they're opening correctly or not. The motor doesn't have to be under a load to check this.

Don't look down the carb when it's running and they won't normally open if you just rev the engine without going anywhere. You can unhook them and see if you notice a difference in power.
