14 secound gas hog...

Hey guys, I was at the track tonight. I ran her 6 times doing everything i could and all i coudl manage was a 14.46 at 94 mph. I know its out of tune a bit and my plugs are fouled but i was still kinda disapointed. So my main reason for posting is to ask If you guys think a 750 is to much carb for this motor? Also I am getting **** poor gas milage and i know it shoudl be pretty good for a 14 secound car. Do you think switching to a holley would make much of a difference? thanks guys. Oh yea, Vortecs are goin on the motor soon if it helps

i dont think that you are that far off on your setup. if you were to switch to a holley 750vs carb and get it tuned correctly i would say that you wont see any REAL improvement on gas mileage. if it was a 750 dp then i would say it would go down a bit.
