Car dies when I slow down

Does anyone know why my holley 750 vs would die when I slow down to a stop sign or light? If I let the clutch back out just for a second to turn the motor over with the momentum of the car it does not die

Does it run fine when you first start your engine? When you go and start your car, can you leave it running as long as you want without it dying ?

Thanks for your posts. It sometimes does die when the choke comes off, after I start it. When the motor is warm it happens less
