I can see one screw obviously missing.
At the very rear of the carb, on top, there SHOULD BE 2 torx-head screws. You only have one- the pass. side one is there, the driver's side one about an inch to the other side of the carb, but in the same relative possition, is missing. This particular screw is a LONG one. It goes through the entire carb from top to bottom and has to be at least 4" long. There's really no mistaking it or getting it in the wrong spot.
HOWEVER, taking a close look at the enlarged view it looks like somebody actually snapped the head off of that screw and the shaft of it is still down in the hole. If all you have is the head of the screw and a tiny piece of the shank that's almost certainly what has happened.
If that's the case there's not much you can do to get it out but disassemble the carb, take off the airhorn (top) casting and then try to catch the shaft of the broken-off screw with vice grips and unscrew it.
IF IF IF this explanation seems like what has happened to your carb I suggest you simply take the broken-off screw head out of the air cleaner housing, chuck it, and forget about digging into the carb. That is NOT a super-critical screw. The one on the other side will be plenty to hold the carb togther and prevent a vacuum leak. It's more trouble to fix than it's worth at this point.
If you ever tear down the carb to do a complete rebuild you can repair it then. Of course, you'll have to "borrow" that same screw from another QJet when you replace it. It's a special length and you'll probably never find an exact replacement at the hardware store.

If you manage to dig it out, and find a replacement, Use blue locktite when putting it back in. That way, it won't vibrate out. With my cam profile, everything in the motor had to be locktited in, including the clutch pivot ball in the bellhousing!!!! If you can't find a replacement screw, I have an extra car or 2 I can rob.
