Your q-jet is not crippling your 350. If something isn't working right, that's a different story.
What Holley did you get? Is it new? The most common design is a dual feed type that requires a "T" or "Y" to split the fuel flow to the primary and secondary bowl. Pre-fabricated lines are available from Summit, for instance HLY-34-150 or HLY-34-160 (depending upon which type Holley you got, 4150 or 4160) for $24.
For adapters, SUM-G1401, $15.
Don't forget you need a vacuum/mechanical advance distributor. Summit has a killer deal right now for a Mallory HEI, just $133.
Of course you're going to need to adapt the throttle cable, SUM-G1414, $9. And TV cable bracket, HLY-20-95, $18. And cable studs, HLY-20-2, $10.
Don't forget a drop-base open element air cleaner, since your nifty L69 HO dual snorkel air cleaner isn't going to fit over the Holley fuel bowls, SUM-G3000 or SUM-G3001, $18.
Oh, yeah. The torque converter clutch won't lock up when you disable your ECM with this mod. BMM-70244, $160.
So, you're poor? You're going to be poorer. There may be ways to do these things for less money, but there isn't any way to do them better. To say nothing about the loss of gas mileage that will result from the Holley swap. Which reminds me, you'll need to tune this Holley, better get the 64-99 jet assortment HLY-36-181, $40 (individual size jet pairs are $5, doesn't take long to pay for this kit).
I don't know what's "crippling" your engine (you didn't give any details), but most likely changing the carb isn't the right answer.

someone told me
someone told me my q-jet is set up for my old 305, so just putting it onto my 350 is crippling it, so how do i set the q-jet up for my 350 and is it hard to rebuild the q-jet with a kit? im the type of person who with good directions chould do anything. but theres def somin wronge, my 305 used to get on it when i floored it, now my 350 theres no knoticable difference from half throttle to full throttle, and at full throttle the acceleration goes up and down and is barly choppy but u can tell. any ideas? i just put the engine in and its slow as hell, thanks.

If it's not a computer controlled carb, it's still not the carb type, but perhaps carb tuning. Typically, though, there isn't enough difference between a 305 & 350 to cause severe problems.

chould bt, the guy who put the engine in timed it by just twisting the disctibutor till it idled right, not sure if thats the right way or if it works.

That's what you do until you can adjust it properly.
But, you just can't mix CC and non-CC parts.

The computer needs input from the distributor in order to give the carb proper instructions on mixture control. The vacuum/mechanical distributor doesn't give that information to the computer. So, the computer gives the carb default signals, also known as "limp home" mode.
So, you're limping everywhere, not just back home.
